INDY & OTHER NEWS

Info on Why Team Mexico Wasn’t at King of Trios

All of these information is courtesy of LuchaBlog (www.thecubsfan.com/cmll). He was able to information from a source within CHIKARA explaining the situation. Apparently after CHIKARA had announced that Valiente, Skadye, & Turbo would be apart of King of Trios Skayde then demanded double the pay that they were going to get. CHIKARA was obviously not pleased but eventually agreed to this. For whatever reason Skayde then wanted more so he told Turbo & Valiente to take other bookings elsewhere and not get on the flight. Skayde then went as far as to go to the airport and attempt to convince El Oriental to not go! El Oriental ignored it and he and the rest of Team Perros del Mal came in for the tournament. Skayde then called CHIKARA again and attempted to get the booking changed but CHIKARA finally said “to hell with him” and officially cut all ties with “Skayde Sr.” Jorge Rivera. It blows my mind why Rivera would pull this at this point when he has had such a long and good relationship with CHIKARA (the man trained most of their stars including Mike Quackenbush!). This whole thing has been bizarre. If this story is true Jorge Rivera is completely at fault for the fans in Philadelphia not getting to see Turbo and Valiente this weekend, but this story may have a lot more involved that we’ll never know.

CHIKARA Releases Teaser Trailer for…VIDEO GAME
This teaser trailer was released this week that is supposedly for an upcoming video game that CHIKARA is releasing called “CHIKARA: Rudo Resurrection”. This is the first I’ve heard of it but the actual trailer doesn’t show anything about wrestling so maybe it’s a story-driven action game rather than a wrestling game (which would be disappointing to me). The trailer is here:
