Yoshi Tatsu Defeats Primo W/Top Rope Spinning Heel Kick

The show opened with a one on one between Yoshi Tatsu and Primo, The match was a back and forth contest between the two fast paced superstars. Primo was in control at the start scoring the early offense on Yoshi and gloating to the crowd. Yoshi was able to come back from Primo’s first surge and hit chops and a big plancha to the outside on his opponent. After a commercial break Primo had taken over again wearing down Yoshi and countering a comeback to get a school boy for a 2 count. Yoshi was able to make a final comeback and hit a big kick to the head and his signature Top Rope Spinning Heel Kick for the win.

Hawkins and Archer Defeat MVP and JTG W/Double Team Powerslam

This match started as a one on one between Vance Archer and MVP, The two started the contest off going back and forth on offense. The match spilled to the outside where Curt Hawkins interfered and caused JTG to come from the back to help MVP. After GM Teddy Long made the match official MVP and JTG started the tag match in control of Curt Hawkins. Archer got the tag and continued his fight with MVP where he was able to make continuous tags with Hawkins to wear down his opponent. MVP was able to fight his way out and tag in JTG but the match broke down and Hawkins and Archer were able to hit a double team Powerslam to win the match.

Jack Swagger Defeats Chris Masters W/Ankle Lock Submission

The main event for the evening was a contest of submissions as it was the Ankle Lock Vs. the Master Lock, Swagger was in control for most of the early going using his amateur backround.Swagger worked primarily on the arm trying to remove it from the equation to take away his finisher. Masters was able to mount a comeback hitting some big clotheslines and a spinebuster to get a cover but Swagger was able to kick out. Masters went for his signature Master Lock but Swagger was able to break free due to his earlier weardown of Masters arm. Swagger was able to counter the Master Lock into his Ankle Lock keeping Masters away from the rope causing the tapout for the win.
