Charly Manson Arrest

AAA star Charly Manson was arrested early Sunday morning on public drunkenness. A few conflicting reports came out about the story but it seems the true one is that Manson and a ‘friend’ (who Manson claimed was his assistant) Adrian Lopez Reyes were drunk and couldn’t find Manson’s car. The two approached two cops because they thought the car was stolen but the police officers wanted to arrest them for being drunk. A huge argument ensued which resulted in Manson getting into a fight with the cops. Another cop arrived as backup and ended up shooting Reyes in the leg in the excitement. It was originally claimed that Reyes was underage but he’s been confirmed as 33 years old (don’t know how that one started). Manson & Reyes were both arrested with Reyes going to a hospital to treat his wound. One of the cops is in Intensive Care due to a FRACTURED skull while another had to have nose surgery and suffered a neck strain. It looks like that Manson and at least one of the cops will likely be in some pretty serious trouble over this. Manson was officially brought in front of a judge Monday and was charged with “3 counts of assault on a police officer, aggravated assault, and attacking authority figures.” It is facing up to 10 years in prison and the jail refused bail for Manson so he will have to sit in jail until the trial begins (no word on that date). Rumors are going around that Manson was not drunk but instead under the influence of SOMETHING (and with the injuries he put on the cops that sounds more plausible than being really drunk). AAA’s official stance on this is that they are against ANY violence outside of wrestling and they said they will let this whole thing play out before punishing (or not punishing) Manson. It kind of blows my mind that he hasn’t been fired. More info as this story continues and I have to give credit and thanks to CubsFan at LuchaBlog and Kris Zellner at LuchaWorld for compiling all of the information during this story. Kriz Zellner actually released the Police Report:

This week CHIKARA announced that they were releasing a Card Game called “CHIKARA Wrestling Game” alongside popular Card Game makers Flisinger Games. It will be released on June 24th and CHIKARA added a special look at The Colony’s special King of Trios card for the game:

INDY Star Suffers Neck Injury
A couple of weeks ago INDY Lucha star Samuray del Sol (who is actually American I believe) was injured at a DTU event when he overshot his opponents on a dive. He did his Double Rotation Asai Moonsault but overshot his opponents on the floor and wacked his head/neck on the floor. It had been rumored that he lost consciousness after the move but this week he said that he never did. He said X-Rays came back good and he will be in a neck brace for about a month as a precaution. He says he wants to be back in DTU by the Lucha Libre Expo events. Video of the incident was posted on Youtube:
