Thoughts

This was a solid episode of Superstars. Other than the horrendous Divas matches all of the matches were solid. We started the show with Justin Gabriel coming out on top of Tyson Kidd after a 450 splash. Although I did enjoy the match, it just didn’t really have any flow to it. Mainly with the kicks. They had a little section in the middle where they traded kicks and it just seemed to really slow the match down too much. It sort of felt like, ok I did a kick now it’s your turn.

Alicia Fox come out with a win over Natalya after a roll up. They seemed everywhere in this match and was just awful. Not much else to say.

Zack Ryder and Santino came out with a win over the tag champs after Otunga went for The Verdict but Ryder Reversed it into the Rough Ryder. This was a good tag team match. Not too flashy or spotty but just a nice solid match. From what I recall this is the third time in a row that the champs have lost. It really makes them look like weak champions. But then again when have they ever looked like strong champions.

Finally we saw Evan Bourne defeat Primo after a shooting star press. I really enjoyed this match but I’m a huge sucker for these little men flippy, flippy, reversal matches. Bourne looked as impressive as ever. Primo actually surprised me. He was really fluent with his movements and reversals. I could easily see him in a mid-card spot.

Overall I’d give the show a good solid C+, I’ve stressed this in the past few weeks about how I wish they would put the RAW recaps in the middle of the show but what can you do. They are trying to play this angle up and build more hype for it.

That about wraps this weeks recap up, if you have any questions, feedback, hate or whatever my email is amdy985@hotmail.com or you can find me on twitter @amdy985. Thanks for reading I’ll see you guys next week!
