WWE Raw House Show Results – 12/29/09

Santino defeated Chavo. Pretty boring match, both were showboating most of the time.
Jack Swagger defeated Primo. A little better than the previous match, Swagger was actually kind of over with the crowd.
Santa’s Little helper match. Maryse, Alicia Fox, and Katie Lee defeated Melina, Kelly Kelly, and Gail Kim. The match was ended quickly when Melina got in the ring and looked to have knocked herself out after clotheslining Katie Lee.
Big Show defeated Chris Masters. Masters was hugely over with the crowd.
Randy Orton defeated Kofi Kingston. Very solid match ending with an RKO.
DX defeated Legacy. Triple H was obviously over with the crowd being as it is his home town. During the match Shawn and Triple H pulled down the trunks both members of Legacy. Shawn didn’t let go of Dibiase’s trunks and wound up being dragged around the ring for a bit, really funny spot.
The main event was Sheamus vs John Cena for the WWE Title. Cena won by DQ. Sheamus still seems to green to have the title, but that’s just my opinion. After the match Cena cut a promo hyping Bret “Hitman” Hart hosting Raw Monday. A decent promo revolving around Cena and Hart both being cheated and revenge coming Monday.
Very good show for a house show. Triple H, Cena, and Kelly Kelly got the biggest pops, Orton, Sheamus, and Chavo got the most heat.
