Hello everyone, and welcome to this week’s WWE Superstars recap.

If you all are ready, then since Adelitas Way is playing the intro, let’s get on with the show!

WWE United States Champion Santino Marella vs. Jinder Mahal

Santino does a front flip and scares Mahal with the Cobra. Santino then backs off Mahal with his Marella Martial Arts. Lock-up and Mahal tries to back Santino into the ropes, but Santino cartwheels out. Mahal goes back after Santino, but Santino takes him down with a Sambo throw. Santino with an armdrag into an armbar. Mahal with a knee to the gut, followed by a club to the back and finally a stomp. Mahal goes for a slam, but Santino counters with a drop toe hold back into the armbar. Mahal gets out with another knee to the gut, followed by a club to the back. Irish whip by Mahal, but Santino surprises Mahal with a roll-up for a nearfall. Santino motions that he almost had Mahal, who then nails Santino with a boot to the head for a nearfall.

Mahal with a back heel trip, followed by a series of kneedrops using the ropes as a liftoff. Mahal chokes Santino with his knee, followed by a stomp. Mahal with a butterfly suplex for another nearfall. Santino tries to fight back, but Mahal comes back with another knee to the gut. Mahal with a stomp, then locks in a cravate as the crowd chants for Santino. Santino tries to break free, but Mahal with a knee to the head. However, Santino then is able to break free with a back suplex and both men are down. Santino with a right hand and a jab, followed by an Irish whip, but Mahal reverses it. Santino tries to go up & over, but Mahal doesn’t follow him in. Mahal with a Russian leg sweep for a 1 count. Mahal locks in a chinlock as the crowd tries to will Santino on. Santino tries to get to his feet, but Mahal drives him down to the mat. Mahal with a series of stomps, then goes for another kneedrop using the ropes, but Santino gets the boots up, nailing Mahal in the face.

Mahal misses a right hand and Santino nails him with a series of jabs. Mahal charges, but Santino avoids him with the split, followed by catching him off the ropes with a hiptoss. Santino goes off the ropes and hits the flying headbutt.

Santino takes out the Cobra sock and nails Mahal with the Cobra for the victory.

Winner: WWE United States Champion Santino Marella by pinfall (Cobra)

Santino does his trumpet to celebrate his win as we go to commercial.

Commercial

Cody Rhodes vs. Alex Riley

Crowd chants for Riley as the bell sounds. Lock-up and Riley shoves Rhodes down. Rhodes goes for a knucklelock, but instead kicks Riley in the gut before locking in a side headlock. Irish whip by Riley, but Rhodes with a shoulder tackle. Rhodes goes off the ropes, but Riley catches him coming in with a dropkick. Riley then with a pair of armdrags into an armbar. Riley with an arm wrench, followed by wringing out the arm. Rhodes then pushes Riley into the corner to force a break. Rhodes with a kick to the gut, followed by a snapmare for a 1 count. Rhodes locks in a keylock, then goes for an arm wrench, but Riley counters into one of his own. Riley with a wristlock, but Rhodes pushes him into the ropes to force a break. Rhodes with a knee to the gut, then goes to send Riley off the ropes, but Riley reverses and sends Rhodes over the ropes, however Rhodes holds on. Rhodes skins the cat back in, but then Riley charges and nails Rhodes with a clothesline that sends Rhodes back over the ropes and to the outside. Crowd again chants for Riley as Rhodes has words with the crowd. Rhodes gets back in the ring and shoves Riley, who in turns shoves down Rhodes on his keister. Rhodes then takes down RIley with a drop toe hold into a side headlock. Irish whip by Riley, but Rhodes holds onto the ropes to put on the brakes. Riley charges, but Rhodes backdrops Riley over the ropes, however Riley lands on the apron. Riley with a right hand, then goes for a suplex, but Rhodes blocks it. Rhodes then with a kick to Riley’s leg that knocks Riley off the apron and he also lands facefirst on the apron before crashing down to the outside. Riley is down and hurt on the outside as we go to commercial.

Commercial

Back from commercial as Rhodes stomps away at Riley in the corner. Rhodes was words with the referee, but that allows Riley to fight back with a series of right hands. Riley goes for the Implant DDT, but Rhodes counters out, hits a kick to the gut, followed by his brother Dustin’s infamous drop down throat thrust. Rhodes then with a clothesline for a nearfall. Rhodes with a kick to the face, followed by a standing gourdbuster for another nearfall. Rhodes with a stomp to the ankle of Riley, followed by a pair of knees to the gut. Rhodes with a right hand, then taunts the crowd. Rhodes with a snapmare, then locks in a head and arm lock while also using his legs to keep Riley grounded on the mat. Riley breaks free, but then Rhodes with a hard Irish whip that sends Riley sternum first into the corner. Rhodes locks in a Full Nelson that takes Riley down to his knees. The crowd begins to will on Riley as Riley is able to break free with a snapmare.

Rhodes charges in, but Riley catches him with a back elbow. Riley with a pair of clotheslines, then catches Rhodes coming off the ropes after Rhodes had missed a clothesline with his hiptoss suplex for a nearfall. Riley charges, but Rhodes gets his boots up. Rhodes now charges in, but Riley catches him with a spinebuster for a close nearfall. Riley heads up top and goes for his flying clothesline, but Rhodes catches him on the way down with a dropkick to the gut and both men are down. Riley surprises Rhodes with a roll-up for a nearfall. Irish whip by Rhodes, reversed by Riley and when Rhodes tries to go up & over, Riley catches him on his shoulders.

Riley goes for the Final Score, but Rhodes breaks free and hits Cross Rhodes for the victory.

Winner: Cody Rhodes by pinfall (Cross Rhodes)

Rhodes taunts the crowd as we go to this week’s “RAW Rebound”, highlighting what happened in the match between CM Punk & The Big Show and what happened when John Cena announced he would cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase next week on “RAW 1000”.

Back from commercial, we see video of Rikishi’s return on RAW which also saw his sons, The Usos, dance along with their father before our next match.

The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) vs. Derrick Bateman & Johnny Curtis

Jimmy & Curtis will start things off as Curtis tries to do his own type of dance. Jimmy then with a right hand and does a “Uso” chant as Bateman is tagged in. Jimmy with a pair of right hands to Bateman, then tags in Jey as Jimmy with a series of shoulders to the gut of Bateman, followed by a leaping forearm by Jey. Snapmare by Jey for a 1 count. Jey with an arm wrench, then tags in Jimmy, who comes off the top rope with a double sledge across the arm of Bateman. Arm wrench by Jimmy, but Bateman fights back with a forearm. Arm wrench by Bateman now as he tags in Curtis, who goes for his double sledge, but accidentally hits Bateman with it in the process. Jimmy with a pair of chops, then tags in Jey. The Usos with a double Irish whip, double back elbow and finally a double elbow drop on Curtis. Jey with an “Uso” chant, but Curtis comes back by sending Jey through the ropes and to the outside. Bateman then comes off the apron with a dropkick on Jey, sending Jey crashing into the barricade.

Tag into Bateman, who sends Jey back into the ring to gain a 1 count. Bateman stomps away at Jey before tagging in Curtis, who in turn hits a series of stomps of his own. Curtis with a suplex for a nearfall. Tag into Bateman, who hits a kick to the gut before locking in a head and arm lock. Jey tries to break free, but Bateman nails him with a club to the back. Bateman with a slam, then tags in Curtis. Bateman goes for a 2nd rope elbow drop, but Jey rolls out of the way. Curtis then tries for a Top Rope leg drop and again Jey rolls out of the way.

Tag into Jimmy, who nails Curtis with a clothesline and also knocks Bateman off the apron. Jimmy with another clothesline on Curtis, followed by charging and connecting with a leaping avalanche in the corner. Irish whip by Jimmy, reversed by Curtis, but Jimmy with a slide to put on the brakes. Curtis goes for a clothesline, but Jimmy counters it into a Full Nelson bomb. Jimmy with an “Uso” chant as he charges and connects with the Samoan Bulldozer Butt Smash. Jimmy goes for a cover, but Bateman comes in to break it up. Jey comes in now and sends Bateman to the outside. Curtis goes off the ropes, Jey ducks under and then Jimmy catches Curtis coming in with a Samoan Drop.

Jimmy then goes up top and hits the Superfly Splash for the victory.

Winners: The Usos by pinfall (Superfly Splash)

The Usos celebrate their win as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial, we see what happened on RAW when Daniel Bryan proposed to A.J. before our main event.

Main Event: Sin Cara vs. Drew McIntyre

McIntyre with a clothesline to Cara as the bell sounds. McIntyre with a stomp to the head, then sends Cara headfirst off the top turnbuckle. McIntyre then unloads with stomps in the corner. Irish whip by McIntyre, but Cara gets his boots up on McIntyre’s charge in. Cara charges and connects with a spinning armdrag takeover. Cara goes off the ropes and hits a lift-up dropkick on McIntyre that sends McIntyre out to the outside. Cara gets a head of steam, but McIntyre moves away to try and avoid him before Cara can dive. Cara spins out onto the apron and nails McIntyre with a kick to the face. Cara goes for a leaping rana off the apron, but McIntyre blocks it and then lawn darts Cara into the barricade.

Back in the ring, McIntyre gains a 1 count. McIntyre with a criss-cross choke as the crowd wills on Cara. Cara gets to his feet, but McIntyre with a knee to the gut. McIntyre throws Cara into the ropes, but Cara comes back with a forearm. Cara unloads with a series of forearms, then goes off the ropes, but McIntyre drills him coming in with a big boot for a nearfall. McIntyre with a leaping stomp to the head, followed by a kick to the face. McIntyre with a snap suplex for a nearfall. McIntyre locks in an armbar while also pulling at the neck of Cara as the crowd again tries to will Cara on. Cara breaks free with kicks to the leg of McIntyre, but McIntyre comes back with a kick to the gut. McIntyre lifts up Cara on his shoulders, but Cara counters out into a Sunset flip for a nearfall. McIntyre with a club to the back, then hits a side backbreaker, but then maintains his grip on Cara to then hit a stomach breaker. McIntyre then maintains his grip yet again to hit a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on Cara. McIntyre with a Jackknife pin for another nearfall. McIntyre hits a pair of clotheslines in the corner on Cara while keeping a hold of Cara’s arm. McIntyre brings Cara out to the middle of the ring to hit a 3rd, but Cara breaks free. Cara then goes off the ropes and maneuvers himself onto McIntyre to nail him with a facebuster.

Cara with a series of kicks to the leg, but then McIntyre comes back with a right hand. Irish whip by McIntyre, but then McIntyre misses a clothesline, allowing Cara to nail him with a handspring elbow. Cara with a rana, then charges, but McIntyre sends Cara over the ropes and onto the apron. Cara comes back with an enziguri to the side of McIntyre’s head, followed by a slingshot corkscrew splash for a nearfall. Cara is all fired up as he heads up to the middle rope. Cara leaps off, but McIntyre catches him in mid-air and turns it into another tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for a nearfall. McIntyre with another stomp to the head, then heads up top, but Cara drills him with another enziguri to the head to stop him. Cara goes up with McIntyre, but McIntyre pushes him off. However, Cara backflips and lands on his feet. McIntyre leaps off the ropes, going for a clothesline, but Cara ducks under it.

Cara goes off the ropes and nails McIntyre with a tilt-a-whirl DDT, spiking McIntyre on his head for the victory.

Winner: Sin Cara by pinfall (Tilt-a-Whirl DDT)

Cara celebrates his victory as we go to credits.
