I wouldn’t be shocked to see Liger & Guerrero taken off of the Atomicos and a CMLL Heavyweight Title Match between the two made.

AAA

El Oriental Leaves AAA

Today website Gritaradio broke the news of AAA star El Oriental leaving the promotion to work on the INDY scene. There hasn’t been any reason given as to why Oriental left and he wasn’t a member of the newly formed La Yakuza group with Kenzo Suzuki & Sugi San for very long. He and his sister Cynthia Moreno are the current AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions so that belt will obviously be vacated and his other sister Esther Moreno just recently returned at “Verano de Escandalo” so this departure is a little odd. In the last 4 or 5 months AAA has lost Psicosis II, Histeria, Super Porky, El Alebrije, X-Pac, and now El Oriental as well as the passing of Abismo Negro earlier this year. No word on whether La Yakuza will recruit a new member or just breakup alltogether (like D-MEX) or maybe even just join Konnan’s new group. Also, Roxxi who just debuted with AAA as well is being rumored to be heading back to TNA for their Knockouts Tag Title and with Konnan (who pretty much runs AAA) and his problems with TNA she may be gone just as quick as she got there as well.

AAA 08/23 Arena Coliseo Monterrey Results
1) Principe Leon def. Crazy Kid
2) Iron & Viernes 13 def. Aguila Azteca & Panterita del Ring
3) Lumberjack Strap Match: Aguila Extrema & Crucifijo def. Guerrero Blanco & El Nazi

5) Argenis, Gato Eveready, & Mascara Divina def. Rio Bravo, Tito Santana II, & Tigre Cota

AAA 08/23 Arena San Juan Pantitlan Results
1) Cibernetico: Tony Cirio def. Rey Neza, Rey Dragon, Rey Tribal, Espiral Negro, Golden Bull, Dr. Jeckills, Principe Zarack I, Fraile Maldiot, El Pillo, Elementor, Esteta, Potro de Plata, Estrella del Futuro, Super Maquina, Principe Zarack II, Majestic, King Malta, El Duende, & Maquina de la Muerte
2) Cinthia Moreno & Ester Moreno def. Fabi Apache & Mari Apache
3) Dizzy, Mini Oriental, & Pimpinela Escarlata def. Demente, Mini Cibernetico, & Yuriko
4) Monster Clown, Murder Clown, & Psycho Clown def. Cuervo, Espiritu, & Ozz
5) El Mesias, La Parka Jr., & Octagon def. Chessman, Electroshock, & Groon XXX

AAA 08/21 “Verano de Escandalo ’09” Results
1) Psycho Circus (Psycho Clown, Monster Clown, & Murder Clown) def. La Yakuza (Kenzo Suzuki, Sugi San, & El Oriental)
2) AAA Cruiserweight Title 5-Way Elimination: Alex Koslov def. Extreme Tiger (c), Jack Evans, Teddy Hart, & Rocky Romero to win the title!
3) Tables & Chairs Tag Match: Nicho el Millionario & Joe Lider def. Gronda II & El Elegido
4) Electroshock, Silver King, & Ultimo Gladiador def. La Parka Jr., Marco Corleone, & Octagon
5) Street Fight: Charly Manson def. Chessman
6) Mask vs. Hair Cage Match: Billy Boy lost to Fabi Apache, Aerostar, & Sexy Star
7) AAA World Mega-Heavyweight Title 3 Way Dance Cage Match: Dr. Wagner Jr. (c) def. El Mesias & Cibernetico
* NOTES *
– Okay so AAA claims that Zombie Clown & Killer Clown of the Psycho Cicrus have been renamed Monster Clown & Murder Clown. I don’t know if that’s true or those two guys left and these are new wrestlers under the masks. Pretty odd but the Psycho Circus remains undefeated as a team.
– In the Cruiserweight Title Match Evans was injured earleir so he was eliminated via injury (don’t know if it’s legit or not), Teddy Hart was then eliminated by Romero, Romero by Koslov, and then it came down to Tiger and Koslov. Koslov snuck in a foul and pinned Tiger to win the belt back. Koslov is the 2nd Champion in it’s history and is the only 2-time Champion.
– In the Tag Match the Tag Champs finally get a non-title win! Lots of blood in this one. After the match Groon XXX (the original Gronda) made his return to AAA by attacking Gronda II. Great.
– In the Trios the rudo team was introduced as La Wagnermaniacos and Ultimo Gladiador wore a mask.
– There were lightbulb tubes used in the Street Fight. Chessman tapped to La Poza.
– Mixed Tag Cage came down to Fabi and Billy with Fabi getting the shocking pin on Billy and him being shaved.
– After the first Cage Match Tirantes (evil referee) came out and confronted Joaquin Roldan and vowing to make AAA dissapear. He brought out Konnan who then brought ou his new group (no name yet) which consisted of Teddy Hart, Nicole, Rain, & Roxxi (former TNA Knockout Roxxi). Fabi confronted the women but they attacked her. Esther Moreno then made her return to AAA making the save for Fabi!
– In the Main Event the rules were changed a bit. It was a made an Elimination Match with the first elimination coming from either pinfall or submission and then when it’s down to 2 it turns to an Escage Cage Match. Mesias Chokeslammed Cibernetico through a table and eliminated him. Mesias then almost escaped the cage but Silver King and Electroshock prevented him from escaping. Wagner then hit the Wagner Driver on Mesias and escaped the cage to retain his belt!
– As far as my predictions go I went a pitiful 3-4 so I know nothing.

AAA 08/28 Arena Juba de Reynosa Lineup
