* NOTES *
– Pequeno Warrior challenged Bracito de Oro to a Mask vs. Mask Match after the 2nd match.
– In the Main Event Volador finally got his belt back when Lucha Commisioner, Scorpio Sr., came down and took the belt back from Mistico and gave it to Volador (courtesy of Super Luchas):
http://i49.tinypic.com/2edmhhd.jpg
– The DQ in the Main Event was a result of Mistico refusing to get off of Volador in the corner and then shoving the referee. After the match Mistico said he didn’t care about the belt anymore nor the boos from the fans. He only cares about embarrassing Volador and taking his mask which supposedly Volador accepted setting a Mask vs. Mask showdown between the two! If this is goes down, it should be an epic match!

AAA

Juvenutd Guerrera-AAA Update

This week a few websites reported that Juventud has supposedly won his case against Konnan and AAA, and will soon be back in AAA due to this. The lawsuit stems from the fight/incident last year between Juvi, Konnan, & Jack Evans. I don’t see Juvi coming back to AAA anytime soon but I guess we’ll see.

AAA 02/18 TV Taping Results
1) Aerostar, Laredo Kid, & Super Fly def. Billy Boy, Decnnis, & El Brazo
2) Mini Abismo Negro, Mini Histeria, & Mini Psicosis def. Mascarita Sagrada, Mini Charly Manson, & Octagoncito
3) Extreme Tiger, Rocky Romero, & Jack Evans def. Alex Koslov, Joe Lider, & Nicho el Millionario
4) Dr. Wagner Jr., Silver King, & Electroshock def. La Parka Jr., Marco Corleone, & Pimpinela Escarlata
5) El Mesias & Latin Lover def. Chessman & El Zorro
* NOTES *
– Cibernetico challenged Konnan to a Lumberjack Match for Rey de Reyes and Konnan accepted and then The Legion beat the hell out of Ciber.
– In the Semi-Main Electroshock stole the pin from Wagner. Beef with the Wagners & Electro now.
– After the Main Event a big brawl ensued between the tecnicos and The Legion until Cibernetico came out and cleared the ring of the rudos. Ciber then offered his hand to Mesias but he refused to shake it.

AAA 02/27 TV Taping Lineup
1) Aerostar, Fabi Apache, May Flowers, & Octagoncito vs. Mini Abismo Negro, Polov de Esterrlas, Sexy Star, & Ultimo Gladiador

* NOTES *
– I’m guessing Dr. Wagner III as Wagnermania’s partner and probably Black Warrior in the Main Event.
– Copa 187 has been verified as a #1 Contenders Tournament to La Hermandad’s Tag Titles.
– This is the first time Sexy Star has defended the Reina de Reinas since she beat Fabi Apache for it back in the fall last year.

INDY & OTHER NEWS

More Lucha Stars to ROH

This week ROH announced for their WrestleMania weekend shows in Arizona. First, AAA stars Alex Koslov and Rocky Romero have been confirmed for a rematch of the match that had last year where Romero got the win over his then tag team partner. Koslov has vowed to get revenge on Romero. Also, another luchadore has been signed for ROH’s April 3rd show in Charlotte, North Carolina. Lucha vet Solar has been signed for the show joining other lucha stars Super Parka, Blue Demon Jr., Cassandro, and Magno. One more lucha name is yet to be named for the show.

VLL Announces More Spring Dates
Valiente Lucha Libre announced this week 7 more dates for the spring in Texas, New Jersey, Gorgia, and Illinois. The following are those dates:
April 16th – Dallas, Texas
April 17th – Austin, Texas
April 18th – Houston, Texas
April 23rd – New Jersey (no city named yet)
April 24th – Atlanta, Georgia
April 25th – Chicago, Illinois
May 9th – New Jersey
Also, they announced several of the talent for the tour which is shaping up to look great. L.A. Park (original La Parka), NWA World Heavyweight Champion Blue Demon Jr., El Hijo de Rey Misterio, Damian666, Mr. Aguila, former AAA superstar Charly Manson, Turbo, Super Nova, CMLL star Valiente (in his United States debut), Tokyo Monster, Angel, Los Luchas, Ricky Reyes, Sabian, El Conquistador, Mascarita Dorada, Mini Chupacabras, & Cristina Von Eerie have all been signed for the tour. And a correction to something I said last time about VLL. They are actually working alongside Masked Republic rather than owned by Mask Republic.

Eric Bischoff Rips Into Juventud Guerrera
Tons of Juvi news this week but not all good. This week Eric Bischoff was asked by a fan on his official Facebook if he would ever be interested in bring Juventud Guerrera into TNA (Juvi has wrestled in TNA many times in the past). Bischoff responded by saying that Juvi was a “world class screw up” and that he would “rather take an ice pick to my thigh” than work with Juventud again.

Sabu Answers L.A. Park’s Challenge!
Last week L.A. Park issued an open challenge for any former ECW superstar to come to Mexico and attempt to take his XLAW Heavyweight Title. This week, former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Sabu has accepted that challenge! Sabu and Park have met each other many times, with the most memorable (in my opinion at least) going down back in 2002 as part of the Florida based MLW promotion where Park and Sabu attempted to maim each other in one of the bloodiest matches I’ve ever seen. The two longtime rivals will meet each other on March 20th.

* NOTES *
– Parka and Magno was originally the Main Event. During the match Damian ran out and helped Parka get the win. Cassandro then came out to even the odds. Cassandro & Magno challenged Damian & Parka to a match right there, but Damian said he wouldn’t wrestle unless he was paid extra because the fans didn’t deserve to see him anymore. Fans began tossing coins at Damian but he said unless he got at least $100 he and Parka were leaving. Cassandro then asked the fans to throw money in the ring because he and Magno wanted to fight Parka & Damian. Fans then began throwing dollars into the ring (even one fan throwing in a $50 bill). Finally the ring was littered in hundreds of dollars and the match took place.
