The Young Bucks def. The Dark City Fight Club
The finish saw Matt Jackson of The Young Bucks dropkick Jon Davis of The Dark City Fight Club and Nick Jackson getting the pinfall with a sunset flip. Some real good tag team action to open up the show.

A promo with The Briscoes aired highlighting events with Kevin Steen and El Generico recently on HDNet.

Bison Smith w/ Prince Nana def. Sal Rinauro
Squash match here. Bison gave Sal a claw slam early on, went for the pinfall and lifted Sal up after two. Bison then took out Sal putting Sal on a chair in the crowd and hitting a big dive over the ring barricade. Bison rolled Sal back in the ring for the pinfall. After the match, Sal rolled under the ring.

Colt Cabana def. Joey Ryan
Quick match here as well. Ryan worked on Colt’s arm early on. Lots of comeback attempts by Cabana that were cut off by Ryan including a big superkick. Finish saw Ryan put Cabana up on the top turnbuckle and attempt the Mustache Ride when Cabana countered and locked in the Billy Goat’s Curse. Ryan tapped out. After the match, Sal Rinauro rolled back in and Cabana punched him.

Nigel McGuinness cuts a promo from inside the arena sitting in the front row. McGuinness blamed the fans and wrestlers for causing him to get hurt in the ring multiple times. He gets in the ring and promises to beat up the next guy he wrestles and that if he gets hurt then he will hurt them more.

Backstage, ROH World Champion Austin Aries announced the “A-Double L-Double, Austin Aries’ Lucky Lottery” contest. He said he was putting 20 elite names into a hat and would draw who would face him for the ROH Title. Aries joked that he has people actually putting in requests to use their hats for the contest including white hat from England and a Big Bird hat. He added that he preferred Snuffleupagus. Great stuff. Aries said he would draw a name next week.

Kevin Steen & El Generico vs. The Briscoes ended in a No Contest
Lots of fast paced action between the two teams early on. Generico lit up Jay with some big chest chops. Generico got a nearfall with a Michinoku Driver on Mark. Steen attempted the Steenton, but Jay blocked it getting his knees up. Jay hit a big Death Valley Driver on Steen, while Generick took out Mark with a big kick. Towards the end, The American Wolves ran in. They were cleared away by both babyface tag teams. After the match, Steen grabbed the mic and announced they have picked the stipulation for New York City: Ladder War 2.
