Commercial

Back from commercial, ROH match-maker Nigel McGuinness is in the ring. Nigel says at Best in the World, he was reminded why he loves this company. “Best in the World” chants by the crowd. From top to bottom, the wrestlers gave it their all to make the sure ROH was synopsis with the name of the show, Best in the World. Nothing epitomizes that more than the main event. Two guys who built this company from the ground up with family ties, they didn’t take any shortcuts to decide on that night who was the best man. They did the company, myself, the fans and most of all, themselves proud. But, the question isn’t how much are you willing to give, how much do you have left? After the show, it was found out that Jay Briscoe re-injured his shoulder and hurt his back after Mark Briscoe gave him the Froggy Bow through a table. Mark took 3 Jay Drillers and suffered a very serious concussion. As a result, Mark Briscoe will not be cleared to compete for Team ROH in Steel Cage Warfare. The crowd boos at that while Corino at the commentary table is loving it. Which leaves one question, who gets put in that spot? Crowd chants for Kevin Steen and then the music of Kevin Steen hits and he makes his way to the ring.

Steen says that he isn’t here to complain about what happened at Best in the World, he is here because he needs you and the fans need you to put myself in Steel Cage Warfare. Crowd does the “YES” chant as Nigel says he hears what you and the people are saying, but Steen started SCUM, you were the face of SCUM and now you want me to believe that you wanna save this company and restore honor? Steen says that Nigel is looking for honor while he is looking for payback and to kick SCUM’s ass. Nigel is right that I started SCUM, but I can finish it. I need to be in this and you know you need me to be in this, so grow a pair and put me in the g**d**n match!

SCUM then comes out and circles the ring. They hit the ring and attack Steen and also go after Nigel. Nigel waves for security as SCUM begins beating down SCUM. All of a sudden, BJ Whitmer, Michael Elgin & Jay Lethal hit the ring and go after security. Security rushes the ring and tries to break up the brawl as we go to commercial.
