A look at the 10/26 and 11/2 episodes of Lucha Underground on the El Rey Network

The following took place on the 10/26 and 11/2 episodes of Lucha Underground on the El Rey Network:

* Gift of the Gods Champion Sexy Star wanted to cash in her title to face champion Matanza Cueto for the title next week, but Dario Cueto prevented her from doing so, saying Star had to defend her title against Johnny Mundo.

* Marty the Moth defeated Ivelisse, then he and his sister, Mariposa, continued their attack after, until Ivelisse’s new boyfriend, Jeremiah, ran in to make the save, much to Ivelisse’s chagrin.

* Texano won Match 3 of the Best-of-5 Series with Cage for an Ultimate Opportunity, putting in now at 2-1 in Cage’s favor in the series. A vignette shown prior to the match with Dario and LA Councilman Delgado revealed that the Ultimate Opportunity talked about was really for the winner of the series to be a “host body” for the Aztec Gods to be reunited.

* Johnny Mundo won the Gift of the Gods Title from Sexy Star in the 10/26 main event after using brass knucks, thanks to interference from Worldwide Underground. The Mack came out to help out Star, but it wasn’t enough.

* Matanza retained the Lucha Underground Title over the injured detective rat, Cortez Castro, as Dario’s Dial of Doom landed on the “Dario’s choice” option.

* Prince Puma issued a challenge to Mil Muertes for Muertes’ favorite match of Grave Consequences for next week as a way for Puma to get revenge for Muertes killing his mentor, Konnan, in Season 1. Muertes and Catrina accepted. Muertes attacked Puma from behind, but Puma got the advantage to send Muertes packing.

* Son of Havoc got a measure of revenge over Dr. Wagner Jr., defeating him in a match where the winner would get to pick the stip in an upcoming match between Mascarita Sagrada and Famous B. With Havoc’s win, he chose that next week, Sagrada faces Famous B in a Believer’s Backlash Match, where the fans can bring weapons and use belts to hit Famous B with.

* We see another vignette for the impending debut of the White Rabbit faction and finally see that Paul London is the leader of the faction.

* Finally, in the 11/2 main event, Rey Mysterio Jr. def. Chavo Guerrero Jr. in a Loser Leaves Lucha Match, in spite of interference by Chavo Classic, who tried to get his son a cheap DQ win by hitting him with a chair, but Dario restarted the match, leading to Mysterio’s win.
