We see the usual intro, then go to video highlighting Ladder War V between Adam Cole & Jay Briscoe for the ROH World Title.

The music hits for the World Champion as Adam Cole & Matt Hardy make their way to the ring. Cole has a mic and says there is no dispute, there is no doubt, there is only one ROH World Champion and his name is ADAM COLE BAYBAY!! None of you have any idea what its like to go to bed every single night and wake up every single morning, knowing that you are the best damn wrestler on this planet, having the gold to prove it and having people still question whether or not you’re the man. Since I became ROH World Champion, I’ve taken on all-comers, I’ve beaten everyone of you and I’ve proven that I can’t be touched in this company. At Ladder War, I went to hell & back to retain my ROH World Title and Jay Briscoe went to hell and stayed there. I beat Jay Briscoe within an inch of his life and he will never, ever be the same again. As a matter of fact, the shame that Jay Briscoe must have to have to go back home to his daddy and say “I couldn’t beat Adam Cole.” Going home to his family and saying “I couldn’t beat Adam Cole.” Looking himself in the mirror and saying “I couldn’t beat Adam Cole.” Michael Bennett beat Mark Briscoe like he’s never been beaten before, so the rumors, they are true. Ladies and gentlemen, the Briscoes will never show their faces in ROH again. In Jay Briscoe’s hands, his personalized title meant nothing. In my hands, it means power. But I already have a title to prove I am the ROH World Champion. This title deserves to be around the waist, over the shoulder of someone whose given so much to ROH. Someone whose given so much to pro wrestling. Someone who walks and breathes being a champion. Matt Hardy, will you do me the honor of accepting this title as your own, for all of your hard work, all you have done for me and for ROH?

Cole hands Jay Briscoe’s title to Hardy. Hardy thanks Cole and says he is so flattered, so honored, this is a great moment. I think the belt needs some work and needs to be re-named. Let me think of something that would fit the founding father of pro wrestling, Matt Hardy. This title should be re-named the Innotative Creator and Originator of a New Found Industry Champion, its the I.C.O.N.I.C. Title!! An I.C.O.N.I.C. Title for an iconic man, thank you Adam!!

All of a sudden, the music of Kevin Steen hits and he makes his way to the ring. Steen says that he just Cole say that he went to hell & back to keep the ROH World Title. I have unfournate news for you. You have no idea what hell is and trust me because I am the devil, my friend and I will make sure you know exactly what hell is because hell for you is in Toronto, Ontario, Canada when you put that title on the line against me!! You call yourself the undisputed ROH World Champion, well you know that’s a lie because in April of last year, I lost that title to Jay Briscoe and I never got a re-match, not against him, not against anybody else and correct me if I’m wrong, but I pinned you in a match 2 weeks before you won that title and yet, I didn’t get a title shot. Then, I earned a title shot against you a few months after that, but you pulled out of the match because you said you were too hurt to do it. “He pulled out” chants by the crowd. Steen says that by the way, pulling out only works for so long. Eventually, you are gonna get what’s coming to you because in Toronto, I have earned another title shot, I have earned that title shot 4 times by my count and now there’s nowhere left to run for you. Its not personal, the fact is, nobody stands between me and my gold and you are an obstacle.

Cole says he is not an obstacle to Steen, he is the best damn pro wrestler on the planet. I don’t care if we are facing each other in your hometown of Toronto, or that you never got your rematch, you will fall like everybody else.

Steen corrects Cole and says he is from Montreal, not Toronto. Its a good thing you’re pretty because the brain is not working so good. But after Ladder War, I can’t blame you but here’s the thing……….

Steen nails Cole with a right hand. Hardy goes after Steen, but Steen with right hands to Hardy. Michael Bennett then runs in and nails Steen with a big right hand. Hardy, Bennett & Cole put the boots to Steen. Bennett & Hardy hold up Steen and Cole nails Steen with the ROH World Title belt. Cole, Hardy & Bennett stand tall while Maria looks on as we go to commercial.

Commercial

Before we come back from commercial, we go to a promo by Truth Martini. Martini says this week, the new TV Champion is in the house. I have a question for you people, do you believe me now? Do you believe me now that when I say everything I touch turns to gold? Do you believe me when I say that I am the greatest manager in the entire world? Well, Jay Lethal, your new ROH TV Champion, he believed in me, but he also believed in himself. It takes two to accomplish that. If you people thought there was a party before, you people haven’t seen anything yet because with Truth Martini and the new ROH TV Champion, Jay Lethal, its about to get exciting.

Back from commercial as Cedric counters the Exploder with a victory roll for a nearfall. Lumbar Check, but Jacobs hops up on the apron. Cedric knocks Jacobs off the apron.

Whitmer avoids another roundhouse kick, lariat for the win.

Winner: “The Buzzsaw” BJ Whitmer by pinfall (Lariat)

Afterwards, Jacobs has a mic and has Page hold Cedric. Jacobs says that people like Cedric will never get it. I’ve seen flavors of the month in this company come and go. What are you, the next Dunn & Marcos? The next Cheech & Cloudy? Kids like you who have no respect are a dime or dozen. So tough, is your wife at home proud of you? Lick the dirt of my boot, give it up. Will your baby daughter be proud of daddy if you lick the dirt off my boot? Cedric spits at Jacobs. Strong then hits Cedric with the Sick Kick, followed by the End of Heartache. Strong & Whitmer then have Page wipe the spit off of Jacobs’s face. The Decade stand tall over a fallen Cedric.

Commercial

Before we come back from commercial, we go to a promo from Adam Cole. Cole makes a “shoosh” crowd and asks can you hear that? Of course you can’t, its doubt for me being able to retain the ROH World Title against Kevin Steen. At a sold-out Global Wars in Toronto, Kevin Steen gets his very first title shot since losing the title. In fact, it’ll be two years to the date since Kevin Steen first won the ROH World Title. What a storybook. Unfortunately for you, lions don’t care about the opinions of sheep and you’re looking at a lion. Nobody believed I’d become ROH World Champion in the first place and I have. Mr. Fatboy himself, Kevin Steen, you get your big opportunity in Toronto and I’m still gonna give you time. Instead of “Kill Steen Kill”, you “Run Steen Run.”

“The Apex of Agility” Andrew Everett vs. “The Last Hero” ACH w/TD Thomas

Jimmy Jacobs joins commentary for this match. Code of Honor before the bell. Shoulder tackle by ACH. Both show off their agility early. Everett with a dropkick. ACH with a spinning back kick and a backwards kick for a nearfall. Slam for a nearfall. Texas Cloverleaf applied. ACH runs into a back elbow, then Everett with a springboard dropkick for a nearfall. Jacobs has words with TD from commentary. Everett with a spike rana for a nearfall. Suplex, but ACH avoids a springboard shooting star. Double stomp and a front kick by ACH. Everett slips out of a suplex and sends ACH onto the apron. ACH backflips to the outside to avoid Everett, but Everett then wipes him out with a Foxbury Flop! Everett goes for the Double Moonsault, but ACH moves out of the way. Jacobs laughs at this. ACH with a running kick in the corner, then heads up top.

Best 450 Ever for the win.

Winner: “The Last Hero” ACH by pinfall (The Best 450 Ever)

TD goes to celebrate with his partner, then ACH goes to check on Everett and Jacobs has words with TD, telling him that ACH left him out.
