Paul Heyman to star and co-produce new TV series

TheWrap.com is reporting that Paul Heyman and Mitchell Stuart, who run the Looking 4 Larry marketing agency, have partnered with Roy Bank’s Banca Studio to produce “unscripted content across multiple platforms.”

The first project will feature Heyman and focus on “talk, opinion, comedy and pop culture.” Heyman spoke in detail about why he was initially against being the star of a project like this, joking about the early venure.

“Against my strenuous objection, Roy Bank has decided our first collaborative project will be centered around me. I have come to the educated conclusion Roy has made this decision based on a desire when pitching from the networks that we learn how to deal with rejection.”

The article also notes the possibility of Heyman parting ways with WWE once Brock Lesnar’s current deal with the company expires after WrestleMania this year.

WWE targets WrestleMania bootleggers

TMZ Sports is reporting that WWE has already started filed legal documents in the state of Louisiana “against anonymous makers of unauthorized WWE merch.”

WWE reportedly wants a temporary restraining order to ban bootleggers from selling unauthorized “souvenirs and memorabilia bearing WWE trademarks.”
