John Cena highest paid in 2017

WWE star John Cena earned an estimated $10 million last year – more than any other current WWE star on the roster including WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar – according to a new article by Forbes.com this week.

Cena made $2 million more than the previous year, since he’s worked double the schedule from the previous year. In addition, he’s estimated to have made more than $2 million from non-WWE related work including his movie career.

Brock Lesnar falls at No. 2 for the top paid WWE superstars of 2017, earning $6.5 million last year. Lesnar was the top paid WWE star of 2016 due to his UFC return that same year against Mark Hunt, which gained him an extra #2.5 million.

Roman Reigns is No. 3 on the list with $4.3 million in earnings.

AJ Styles is No. 4 on the list with $3.5 million. According to Forbes, no one worked more shows than AJ Styles in 2017. This includes PPV’s, house shows and Smackdown.

Paul “Triple H” Levesque took the No. 5 spot for the most earnings in 2017. Triple H made a total of #3.2 million, including company stock.

Vince McMahon is ranked No. 1,394 on Forbes Billionaires list and is estimated to have a net worth of #1.7 billion, ranking him No. 436 in the United States.
