Andre the Giant documentary premieres tonight on HBO
The new documentary about Andre the Giant premieres tonight on HBO at 10:00 p.m. Eastern (9:00 CT), a documentary produced alongside WWE.
HBO passed along a clip from the documentary featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger talking about going out to eat one time with Andre and spending time with him.
We reported on a clip last week featuring a deleted scene with Hulk Hogan telling a story about trying to pick a girl to an event where he worked against Andre.
Wrestleview.com had the opportunity to get an early look at the documentary before it aired tonight on HBO and we can confidently say it’s one of the most in depth looks at Andre the Giant’s career, including his life before getting involved with wrestling. Vince McMahon and Hulk Hogan are featured quite prominently in the documentary, along with former WWE referee Tim White who became very close with Andre during his career.
Dana White on Ronda Rousey’s debut
Ramona Shelburne of ESPN shared the following quote from UFC President Dana White, who attended WrestleMania 34 live to watch Ronda Rousey’s WWE in-ring debut.
