WrestlingDVDNetwork.com has released new details on a three disc DVD set titled: “Then, Now, Forever: The Evolution of WWE’s Women’s Division.”
The finalized cover will feature 22 female WWE Superstars from the past and present – Charlotte Flair, Paige, Sasha Banks, Ronda Rousey, Stephanie McMahon, Nia Jax, Asuka, Natalya, Bayley, Trish Stratus, Lita, Mickie James, Jacqueline, Beth Phoenix, Alundra Blayze, Naomi, Alexa Bliss, Nikki and Brie Bella, Becky Lynch, Mae Young and Wendi Richter.
The DVD will also feature newly-filmed interview segments with Stephanie McMahon, Charlotte Flair, Carmella, Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, Paige, Becky Lynch, Natalya and brand new interviews with Trish Stratus, Molly Holly and Victoria.
Matches included are the first-ever women’s cage match in WWE (Lita vs. Victoria from 2003), the first-ever Money in the Bank, Hell in a Cell, Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber women’s matches.
However, notably absent from the DVD is the Fabulous Moolah who was a subject of controversy earlier this year which prompted WWE to drop Moolah’s name from its first ever Women’s Battle Royal that was held at this year’s WrestleMania.
The DVD is scheduled for release in the UK/Europe on June 25 and in the United States on June 26.
