The word backstage regarding Josh Mathews’ bloody nose that took place at the start of the Monday Night Raw broadcast last night was that it was nothing out of the ordinary and that he apparently has a long history of nosebleeds and just happened to get one at the worst time.

Some wrestlers and staff were said to be joking that this was the first WWE Draft where they broke the trend of trying to kill off the Vince McMahon character on TV.

As it has been in years past, most of the talent drafted and switched to different brands were not told in advance that it was happening. The belief is that most main event talent are told in advance as some found it hard to believe that Triple H would be left in the dark about something like that.
