NXT Superstar Zeda released last week from developmental contract, says she’ll be back

On Saturday Squared Circle Sirens reported that NXT Superstar Zeda, real name Julia Ho, was released from her developmental contract last week.

Zeda was part of the Mae Young Classic tournament in 2017, losing to Shayna Baszler in the first round.  She first reported to WWE in January 2017 following a tryout with the company in September 2016.

She trained at the Santino Brothers Academy in Florida prior to signing with WWE. Despite only making one appearance last year and working a house show where she lost to Sage Beckett, she never appeared on NXT television.

Her debut was in May 13, 2017 in a battle royal for an opportunity at the NXT Women’s Championship. Zeda confirmed her release on Twitter with a Terminator GIF saying she’ll be back, which you can see below:
