In the video seen above, Rey Mysterio was announced on Monday night by WWE and 2K Games as the pre-order DLC for the upcoming WWE 2K19 video game, set to be released on October 7 on PS4, XBOX One and PC.
Mysterio is currently in negotiations with WWE on a three-year deal that would see Mysterio return to the company on a contracted basis for the first time since he was released in 2015.
Spoiler on Hell in a Cell PPV matches
KSAT out of San Antonio posted an article on Monday about the WWE Hell in a Cell PPV coming to San Antonio in September and noted in the article that Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns and AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe would be taking place on the show.
WWE has obviously not confirmed either match as of this writing.
Tickets will go on-sale for Hell in a Cell this Friday at Ticketmaster and at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, with an online pre-sale beginning on Wednesday.
