Brock Lesnar shows up at UFC 226, Challenges Daniel Cormier to a future fight in the UFC

Current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar made an appearance at UFC 226 earlier tonight in Las Vegas. Lesnar took a seat at ringside joining UFC President Dana White before the Stipe Miocic vs. Daniel Cormier main event.

The main event, which featured Miocic defending the UFC Heavyweight Championship against UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Cormier in a champion vs. champion bout, saw DC knock out Miocic at 4:33 of the first round of the fight.

Following the fight, DC invited Lesnar inside the octagon after celebrating his victory by becoming a two division champion. Lesnar, smiling, jumped inside the octagon and immediately pushed DC away. The two were then separated by security and UFC staff.

Lesnar then immediately cut a promo seeming to accept a title match against Cormier.

“I walked into this building and watched the Heavyweight disasters from the beginning…Ngannou’s a piece of shit, Miocic, the piece of shit, DC…I’m coming for you motherfu*ker.”

While the UFC has yet to officially confirm a championship match between Cormier and Lesnar as of this writing, it would indicate that previous rumors of Lesnar heading back to the promotion to continue his mixed martial arts career is indeed taking place.

Lesnar, who is still the current WWE Universal Champion, last appeared for WWE at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in April in another win over Roman Reigns. It’s been long expected that Lesnar would defend the Universal Championship at the upcoming SummerSlam PPV in August in what will likely be his final WWE appearance.
