As announced on tonight’s episode of Smackdown Live, a new stipulation was added to the Smackdown Women’s Championship Match at the Extreme Rules PPV this Sunday live from Pittsburgh with Carmella defending against Asuka.
Following the Lumberjack Match between Asuka and James Ellsworth, Smackdown GM Paige added the stipulation that to prevent Ellsworth from interfering in the match, he will be suspended above the ring inside of a shark cage.
WWE has utilized the shark cage stipulation many times over the past couple of years, beginning in conjunction with a action figure playset released by MATTEL in late 2016.
