Former UFC Champion says Brock Lesnar “is absolutely doping”, Daniel Bryan’s future

Brock Lesnar

During an appearance on the Scott & BR Show on 1090 AM in San Diego, former UFC Bantamweight Champion and commentator Dominick Cruz was asked about WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and why he questions Lesnar’s chances with USADA testing.

According to a recap on MMAMania.com, Cruz is convinced that Lesnar is doping.

“If he makes it to the fight I’d be shocked. And I just mean that because USADA is the toughest anti-doping system there is on planet Earth, and that guy is absolutely doping. Period. No ifs, ands or buts about it. And he’s not been in mixed martial arts, so of course he’s been doing that stuff. How they’re going to get him to be clean on fight night is beyond me.”

USADA confirmed earlier this week that Lesnar has officially re-entered the testing pool and would be eligible to fight again in early January 2019.

Daniel Bryan’s future

Daniel Bryan, who’s deal with WWE is reportedly set to expire on September 1 according to multiple wrestling media reports, is already being advertised for upcoming live events.

WWE.com is listing Bryan for a Smackdown Live taping on September 4 in Detroit, while Bryan was advertised for WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden on December 26.

While this isn’t exactly a confirmation that Bryan has re-signed with WWE, it could be a possible hint that things could be headed in that direction.
