Following last night’s Smackdown Live in Tampa, a previously announced championship match has now been changed following the outcome of the main event on Tuesday.
Carmella will now defend the Smackdown Women’s Championship against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match at SummerSlam in three weeks from Brooklyn.
Charlotte, who returned on Tuesday night, earned the title shot after pinning Carmella in a non-title match during the main event on Smackdown Live this week.
