WWE.com has confirmed the first championship match for the Hell in a Cell PPV.
AJ Styles will defend the WWE Championship against Samoa Joe on September 16 in San Antonio live on the WWE Network in a rematch from SummerSlam.
The match is not slated to take place inside the Hell in a Cell structure at this time. Already set for the PPV is Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella teaming up to take on the team of The Miz and Maryse in a mixed tag team match.
