Update on Triple H and Undertaker

We had many readers send us responses to a report yesterday regarding Triple H and No Way Out. Here are a few emails we got on it:

Tim sent this in: Just a quick correction about Triple H never pinning Undertaker one on one. He did pin him in a number one contenders match in Madison Square Garden on RAW the night after SummerSlam 2002 after Brock Lesnar nailed Taker with the title belt.

Glenn Bird sent this in: I noticed that earlier you printed news that Triple H made history in the chamber by pinning Taker which WWE Magazine said that he had never done, This is however untrue. Triple H pinned Undertaker clean after a Pedigree at Insurrexion in 2002, I have the DVD and checked this just to make sure and Triple H did indeed pin Taker for the three after the Pedigree. Triple H also pinned Taker on the August 26th edition of Raw in 2002 following help from Brock Lesnar so Hunter has pinned Taker one on one at least twice before this years No Way Out.

Steeve N. sent this in: I read the news that said according to WWE Magazine Triple H never beat The Undertaker in a one on one match. If it’s true that Hunter may have never defeated the Undertaker under the Deadman persona, Triple H did beat Taker and I can remember of 2 occasions where HHH pinned him. The first was at Insurrextion 2002 where they faced each other in the main event and Hunter got the win with the pedigree. In this match the ring ropes broke which nearly snapped Taker’s neck. The second one was on Raw the night after Summerslam 2002 where HHH beat Taker to become #1 contender to Brock Lesnar’s Undisputed Title. So it’s either an incomplete information or a mistake made by WWE Magazine.
