Rey Mysterio has reportedly agreed to all terms on a new contract with WWE reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Mysterio agreed to terms recently with John Laurinaitis, although it isn’t known if the new deal has officially been signed as the expectation is he has agreed to terms for a new three year deal with a two year option.
His current contract with WWE was set to expire shortly. It should be noted that it would have expired long ago, but the deal was extended due to Mysterio being out of action for a lengthy period of time due to injury. The standard WWE contract allows the company to extend the time frame in the event of an injury putting someone out for a long period of time.
