Miami Herald covers last night’s FCW show

FCW draws big crowd with Big Show in Miami
Homecoming for WWE star MVP

WWE stars Big Show, Carlito and Miami’s own MVP joined a couple of WWE newcomers and many WWE hopefuls for a Florida Championship Wrestling show on Friday, April 2 at the Miami-Dade County Fair.

FCW, based in Tampa, is the feeder group to WWE. Ted DiBiase Jr., Alicia Fox, Tyson Kidd, Drew McIntyre, Primo, Tyler Reks, Sheamus, DH Smith, Jack Swagger, Tiffany and Dolph Ziggler are some who made it to the WWE ranks via FCW.

Reks appeared on Friday’s FCW show along with the obnoxious Trent Barreta and Caylen Croft and Straight Edge Society member Serena.

The solid mix of talent drew hundreds of people to the family-friendly show. Ringside was full; the bleachers were full; and there was even standing room only.

The hometown crowd was excited to see MVP team with Joe Hennig, son of WWE Hall of Famer Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig, as they beat Big Show and Carlito.

Fans chanted for MVP and Big Show. They did not disappoint.
