5/16 WWE Results: St. John’s, NB

Arena was far from full, fits about 7,000.
1. Matt Hardy came out which lead to Kofi Kingston vs Drew McIntyre, Kofi wins with the Trouble In Paradise.
2. Darren Young beat David Otunga in an NXT Rookies match. Crowd wasn’t much into it until the end.
3. Cody Rhodes came out and talked about how we voted for wrestlers as governors and how we’re going to put Linda McMahon in the White House. So I guess you can expect a Linda McMahon lead Canadian invasion in the future. He had a pretty swanky jacket and is going by “Uncommon” Cody Rhodes. He beat Chris Masters with the Cross Rhodes.
4. MVP beat Shad Gaspard with Shelton’s former finisher.
5. Layla beat Kelly Kelly. Pretty entertaining actually, Layla was good at working up the crowd.
6. Christian & Rey Mysterio beat Luke Gallows and the masked SES member. Best match on the show. They could do mask vs mask if they keep it on.
7. Big Show beat Jack Swagger by DQ after Swagger hit him in the knee with the belt. Swagger wasn’t getting in much offense during the match. Pretty lackluster way to end the show.
