During a recent interview on the “Busted Open” satellite radio show, WWE Champion John Cena discussed his career early on and the current WWE Championship spinner belt.
“When I first started, they wanted us to do something to get noticed. The character was my own. I didn’t have anyone write anything for me and I do that today as well… As for the spinner belt, I keep trying to evolve the WWE Championship and I just have to get the right people to listen. I think the spinner belt is outdated and gaudy.”
