In an interview with Lubbockonline.com, WWE star Kofi Kingston comments on how he made the switch from working in the corporate world to wrestling for the WWE, how his mother felt about it and more.
“She did not know how big the WWE is,” said Kingston. “When I first started, I was wrestling independently in front of 10 to 20 people at VFW Halls. She thought I had abandoned a corporate career for that; she couldn’t see the big picture.”
