Despite original scheduling stating otherwise, WWE NXT is no longer being listed as a lead-in for the debut of WWE Smackdown on SyFy in a few weeks on October 1st. The network is now scheduled to air a show beign called “Countdown to Smackdown” at 7:00 p.m. ET (6:00 p.m. CT) before the live broadcast of Smackdown that evening. A replay of the Tuesday and final edition of NXT on SyFy was slated to air until the change. NXT will air its final broadcast on SyFy on September 28th. Nothing has been confirmed by WWE regarding its status after that date.
