– Conor O’Brian (with Alberto Del Rio) defeated Derrick Bateman (with Kofi Kingston) in one on one action.

– Backstage vignette with Ted DiBiase and Maryse, who were both arguing, along with Brodus Clay.

– First Elimination comes next week.

– Johnny Curtis won two elimination points, as he was the winner of the power punch challenge vs. the other rookies.

– Bryon Saxton (with “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters) defeated Ted DiBiase (with Maryse and Brodus Clay) via disqualification. After the match, DiBiase and Clay were jaw jacking at each other.

– Backstage vignette with R-Truth and Johnny Curtis, with Truth giving a pep talk to Curtis, saying that one learns more from his losses.

– Backstage vignette with Chris Masters and Bryon Saxon, with Saxton telling Masters that he should challenge Brodus Clay to a body slam challenge, Masters added that he’s worried about Saxton.

– Derrick Bateman doing a little haiku for his talent. Johnny Curtis was dancing and twirling for the crowd for his part of the talent showcase… you heard us right! Saxton was reading a fairy tale story, involving him and Brodus Clay for his talent. O’Brian did stand-up comedy for his talent. Incredible. Jacob Novak did a pose down for his talent. Clay called out to the back for some assistance on his talent .. out comes Michael Cole to freestyle with Brodus after bashing Rochester. Johnny Curtis won the talent competition, scoring immunity points. Brodus Clay laid out the NXT rookies to close out the NXT tapings.
