While it wasn’t at the level of previous tours, WWE’s recent trip to Australia drew what was described as “healthy business” last weekend. 7/1 in Sydney drew 13,000 fans with an estimated gate of $1.1 million. 7/2 in Melbourne drew 12,000 fans with another estimated $1.1 million gate (which proved to be even more impressive going head-to-head with an Australian Rules football game in the same city that drew 43,000 fans). 7/3 in Perth drew 6,000 fans with a $510,000 gate. 7/4 in Adelaide drew 5,200 fans with a $450,000 gate. And 7/5 in Brisbane drew 6,500 fans with a $550,000 gate.
