A new Quinnipiac University poll showed former WWE CEO Linda McMahon with a big lead over her expected Republican opponent U.S. Rep. Chris Shays. McMahon carried a 50% to 35% lead over Shays in an early look at the 2012 Republican primary for the Connecticut U.S. Senate seat. McMahon also leads 54% to 37% among Republican men and 47% to 32% among women.
