Triple H approves funding for Windham’s recovery

Mike Mooneyham of The Post & Courier is featuring an interview with Blackjack Mulligan aka Bob Windham, the father of Barry Windham. Bob discusses his sons long road to recovery after suffering a heart attack and possible stroke.

“He just fell. He passed out. He was totally out of it when we found him. He couldn’t hear me. I asked him how many fingers I had, and he said he didn’t know. He couldn’t raise his right hand and couldn’t move his right fingers. I couldn’t even get him up. I couldn’t lift him. It took seven guys and the emergency crew to get him up and put him in the wagon. It’s going to be a long deal. It was a very close call … we almost lost him.”

Bob also reveals that Triple H recently approved WWE funding all of Barry’s medical expenses. Barry had worked as an agent/producer for WWE until his deal with the company expired in 2008.
