WWE Smackdown for December 23:
* Teddy Long announced that Big Show would take on Mark Henry. The winner would earn a shot at Daniel Bryan’s World Heavyweight Championship.
* WWE United States Champion Zack Ryder def. WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes in a non-title match. Ryder won after Rhodes was distracted by Booker T singing, “Cody The Red Nosed Reindeer.”
* David Otunga came out to the ring, and he announced that the Big Show/Mark Henry match was off due to Henry not being medically cleared to compete. Otunga said it had to do with blood pressure issues. Big Show gave him the WMD.
* Sheamus def. The Miz. Before the match, The Miz made an open challenge to anyone on the Smackdown roster.
* Wade Barrett came out, and he cut a promo on Randy Orton. Orton came out, and he chased Barrett backstage.
* Kofi Kingston def. Primo.
* Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler went to a No Contest after Big Show and Jack Swagger interfered. Teddy Long made this a tag team match.
* Daniel Bryan and Big Show def. Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger via Submission.
Dark Match Main Event:
* Randy Orton def. The Miz with Booker T as the guest referee.
