In regards to questions about Ric Flair being able to make an appearance at the upcoming 2012 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony this year in Miami despite his contractual status with TNA Wrestling, Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Triple H called Flair on 1/9 (before the announcement aired on Raw of The Four Horsemen being inducted). Flair was at the Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando and was told the announcement would be made later in the night during Raw. As of Tuesday, no one in TNA had said anything to Flair about it according to the report.
Including a press release on Wednesday and pre-sale information on Thursday, WWE has continued to promote the event or at least give the indication that Flair will be in attendance along with Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham and J.J. Dillon.
