According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Brodus Clay was reportedly “scared to death” to take part in his new “Funkasaurus” gimmick and didn’t like the idea initially. Despite his initial feeling, the gimmick has been getting rave reviews internally and former WWE star “Road Dogg” B.G. James is working with him on the gimmick. As reported earlier, he had submitted an idea to WWE creative months ago wanting his character to squash people and “induct them into the Hall of Pain.” This direction was later used for Mark Henry while Clay was out.
