What held up the WWE signing of former Ring of Honor star Chris Hero was due to Hero having a "naturally elevated testosterone/epitestosterone level" reports
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. As per new standards, WWE will not sign anyone who doesn't pass the steroid test. Additional testing was needed to prove the reading was actually natural.
