Following the release of WWE’s first quarter financial results, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has also released detailed breakdowns of PPV buyrates for the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber including domestic figures. The 2012 Royal Rumble PPV drew 443,000 buys worldwide with 275,000 being domestic. This is down from 476,000 worldwide and 281,000 domestic in 2011. The 2012 Elimination Chamber PPV drew 178,000 buys worldwide with 125,000 being domestic. This is down from 212,000 worldwide and 145,000 domestic in 2011.
