Report: WWE holds camp to evaluate potential talent

WWE recently brought in 23 to 25 individuals (some independent wrestlers with several years experience) as recruits of Gerald Brisco. Most involved were highly successful college wrestlers. A focus was put on the basics including running the ropes, flat back bumps, agility and cardio training and conditioning and drive. It was considered a test for some to see who would quit first. Bill DeMott and William Regal ran the camp. Evaluations were done by Terry Taylor, Dusty Rhodes, Steve Keirn, Norman Smiley, Jim Ross, Gerald Brisco, Ricky Steamboat and Joey Mercury.
