According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, during Jerry Lawler’s non-televised appearance at the October 16th Smackdown tapings in Memphis, Tennessee, Lawler credited Michael Cole’s quick reacting as well as Dr. Michael Samson for saving his life when he suffered a heart attack live on RAW a month ago in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
From live reports, Lawler sounded much better during his speech and had lost the hoarseness in his voice from a few weeks ago.
