According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Linda McMahon was scheduled to speak, along with her Democratic opponent Chris Murphy, at a NAACP convention on October 26th in Waterbury, CT. However, an hour after the scheduled start time and the heads of the convention were given no word that McMahon would not be attending, they had to announce that she would not be there.
According to McMahon’s campaign, they claim it was a mistake on dates, as they had on her schedule the NAACP convention for November 1st and didn’t realize they had agreed on 2 different dates.
