According to a report by IGN.com, WWE’s video game license was purchased by Take Two – the parent company of 2K Sports. WWE has yet to publicly comment or confirm the licence purchase following news today that THQ had officially dissolved. 2K Sports is the main competitor to EA Sports, who at one point was rumored as a possibilty to purchase the WWE license. An official announcement could come as early as Thursday.
