The first ever WWE Royal Rumble Fan Fest last weekend in Phoenix was considered a “big success” according to a report by Dave Meltzer. The event was described as a test and they are looking at doing it again next year. Discussion about doing a similar event before Survivor Series is also said to be under consideration.
