The New York Post is featuring an interview with WWE star John Cena talking Wrestlemania 29 this Sunday and thoughts on the weather element of an outdoor show at Metlife Stadium.
“I would love nothing more than if it were to be a Lambeau Field type atmosphere. I think that would be fantastic. I think it would be a little difficult for our fans to sit out there, but I’ve been to MetLife in cold weather, it’s a great stadium and I think people will enjoy it no matter what. I hope it’s that grizzly wintry mix.”
The latest forecast for Sunday according to AccuWeather calls for a high of 58 degrees and a low of 45 degrees. Chances of rain are low at only 25 percent.
