We see video of Conor O’Brian becoming the #1 Contender to the NXT Title as his title match is this week’s main event. We see the usual intro, then Brad Maddox, Kassius Ohno & Tony Dawson welcome us to the show. We then go to the opening match.

Commentary mentions before the bell sounds that Neville’s tag partner, Oliver Grey, will be out for 6 months with a knee injury. Before the match, Bray Wyatt has a mic and says don’t ever pawn a mouse for surviving one night in a cage with a snake. Wanna know why, Adrian? Because everyone knows, sooner or later, the snake will eat the mouse. You’re playing with fire and now, you burn.

Bo Dallas & WWE NXT Tag Team Champion “The Man Who Gravity Forgot” Adrian Neville vs. The Wyatt Family (Erick Rowan & Luke Harper) w/Bray Wyatt

Harper & Dallas will start things off. Harper backs him into the corner, but Bo with right hands. Harper drives him into his corner and tags in Rowan. Rowan with back clubs and elbows, followed by choking Bo with his boot. Bo is sent back into the corner, followed by a chest club. Bo fights back, but Rowan with another back club. Rowan with a headbutt, then Harper tags back in. Harper with a gut punch, followed by a right hand. Bo slips out of a slam and tags in Neville. Neville with a head kick, followed by a gut punches and a dropkick to the knee. Neville with another dropkick, followed by a standing shooting star press for a nearfall. Neville goes to the apron where he knocks Rowan off, but Harper knocks him off with a forearm, then does the same to Bo. Rowan sends Neville back in, where Harper drills him with a running boot for a nearfall as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial as Rowan has Neville in a neck vise. Neville tries to fight back, then goes for a Sunset flip, but Rowan counters with a leaping leg drop for a nearfall. Rowan stomps away, then slams Neville in his corner. Tag to Harper, who hits a series of chest clubs while Neville was placed on the top turnbuckle. Harper with a nearfall, then hits an elbow drop. Harper locks in a chinlock as the crowd wills on Neville. Neville fights back, then side-steps a backdrop, but Harper nails him with a shoulder for another nearfall. Harper with another elbow drop for another nearfall. Tag to Rowan, who hits a leaping elbow drop for a nearfall. Rowan drives Neville into his corner, then tags in Harper, who hits a running shoulder to the ribs. Neville tries to fight back, but Harper with a big right hand. Tag to Rowan, who hits a boot to the face. Rowan drives Neville’s head into the corner, then tags in Harper, who hits another elbow drop, but Neville again kicks out. Harper with a big chop, but runs into an elbow, then a boot. Neville avoids a boot and tags in Bo.

Bo with a flying forearm, a gut punch, a running boot and another flying forearm. Bo is all fired up as he hits an Acid Drop, but Rowan breaks up the pinfall. Rowan charges, but Bo pulls the rope down and Rowan goes sailing to the outside. Wyatt gets on the apron, but is met with a right hand for his troubles. Neville with a head of steam and he hits a Foxbury Flop onto Wyatt & Rowan.

Harper misses a clothesline and Bo hits him with the Magnum T.A. style belly-to-belly suplex for the victory.

Winners: Bo Dallas & “The Man Who Gravity Forgot” Adrian Neville by pinfall (Belly-to-Belly Suplex)

Bo & Neville celebrate their win as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial, we go to a promo from Conor O’Brian, who says that tonight, the NXT Title belongs to me. Big E, I’m the Ascension and I will rise.

We go to the commentary table, when all of a sudden, much like last week, William Regal attacks Kassius Ohno at the commentary table. The assault continues until Regal leaves Ohno laying as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial, Maddox & Dawson talk about what just happened with Ohno & Regal before we go to our next match.

“The 1st Lady of NXT” Summer Rae & Audrey Marie vs. Sasha Banks & “The Anti-Diva” Paige

Paige & Audrey will start things off. Paige wants to go after Summer, but Audrey stops her. Paige again goes after Summer, but Audrey takes her down for a nearfall. Audrey with a monkey flip, but Paige with a drop toe hold. Sasha tags in, but Audrey with a knee to the gut. Sasha fights back with a chop, followed by a run up the ropes lucha style armdrag. Sasha with a spinning head scissors for a nearfall. Audrey comes back with a clothesline, then tags in Summer. Summer drives Sasha’s head into the mat, then taunts Paige. Summer chokes Sasha, then gains a nearfall. Tag to Audrey, who hits a snapmare into a chinlock. Crowd wills on Sasha as Audrey gains another nearfall. Tag to Summer, who sends Sasha off the turnbuckles. Summer sends Sasha out of the corner the hard way to gain another nearfall. Summer continues the trash talk on Paige before tagging in Audrey. Audrey sends Sasha off the turnbuckles twice before tagging back in Summer. Summer with a waistlock, but Sasha counters out with an O’Connor Roll for a nearfall before tagging in Paige. Summer is all alone, but tags in Audrey and runs all the way to the back as she clearly wants no part of Paige.

Paige with a savate kick to the ribs of Audrey, followed by the Paige Turner for the victory.

Winners: Sasha Banks & “The Anti-Diva” Paige by pinfall (The Paige Turner)

Afterwards, Paige instantly runs to the back after Summer as Sasha celebrates their victory.

Big E & O’Brian are shown backstage as their match……….is NEXT!!

Back from commercial and before the main event, we see that next week, it will be the long-awaited encounter between William Regal & Kassius Ohno.

Main Event for the WWE NXT Title: “The Ascension” Conor O’Brian vs. Big E. Langston (c)

Big E. starts his “Five” chant as the bell sounds. Lock-up and a break. O’Brian with a side headlock, then side-steps a backdrop attempt. Big E. comes back with a forearm that sends O’Brian to the outside. O’Brian has to regroup as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial as Big E. with gut shots to the ribs of O’Brian, followed by a clothesline. O’Brian goes to the apron, but he comes back with a hot-shot on Big E. O’Brian hits his full nelson slam, but Big E. is able to kick-out. O’Brian stomps away, followed by an elbow drop for a 1 count. O’Brian with a neck twist for another 1 count. O’Brian pulls at the face of Big E, followed by a corner clothesline. O’Brian with a flying clothesline off the middle rope for a nearfall. O’Brian locks in a nerve hold as the crowd wills on the champion. O’Brian with a knee to the gut, followed by back clubs, a right hand and a boot to the face for another nearfall. O’Brian goes back to the nerve hold as the crowd again wills on Big E. Big E. tries to fight back, but O’Brian with right hands. Big E. begins to feel no effect of O’Brian’s right hands and O’Brian can’t believe it. Big E. comes back with 2 clotheslines, followed by 5 knees to the ribs. O’Brian, though, catches Big E. with a big boot for a close nearfall. O’Brian can’t believe it, then begins to mock Big E’s 5 count. O’Brian goes for Big E’s own move, but Big E gets out. Big E. then drills O’Brian with the E Train.

Big E. then hits the Big Ending on O’Brian to retain the title.

Winner and STILL WWE NXT Champion: Big E. Langston by pinfall (The Big Ending)

Afterwards, Big E. hits O’Brian with another Big Ending and does his own 5 count. Big E. celebrates his title retention as we go to credits.
