The Rock reveals Wrestlemania 29 could be his last match

Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97 is featuring an exclusive interview with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson discussing his upcoming reality series “The Hero.”

Johnson addressed if his match with John Cena at Wrestlemania 29 was the last one.

“Possibly, to be honest with you. This is an exclusive you are getting. This is exclusive sh*t right here. You know, the goal three years ago was I sat down with Vince McMahon. We strategized about it, we talked about three Wrestlemania’s back-to-back, boom, boom, boom. I committed myself to the company and I was very proud of that moment. It didn’t matter if I lost or did the job or not. But it was an honor to do the honors. In the wrestling world there is no better way to give back then doing the honors. I know there is a lot of fans saying ‘it shouldn’t have been John’ and ‘should have been somebody else.’ That’s not for me to decide.”

You can hear the entire clip below including Johnson revealing original plans with Brock Lesnar and why reports of him leaving New Jersey without notifying Vince McMahon or anyone else in WWE was completely false.
