In an update on the statement by WWE earlier today stating that John Cena suffered an injury to his “right Achilles tendon” during the recent European tour, it appears Cena first suffered the injury at the 4/21 event in Geneva, Switzerland. Cena continued working live events after that show, but instead in six man tag team matches instead of singles matches against Ryback. How serious the injury is still remains to be seen.
Cena did send out the following tweet on Sunday confirming his status for RAW tomorrow.
Finally home from a great European tour. I’m banged up, but I’m not going to miss Monday Night #Raw.
