WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon sent out the following cryptic tweet wishing The Rock a happy birthday and mentioning his recent Wrestlemania appearance.

It should be noted that McMahon laughed off a question during a recent WWE stockholders meeting on 4/26 when asked if Rock was done as a wrestler for the company. The belief is that if Rock was actually finished up with WWE that they would no longer plug his Twitter on shows or promote his film appearances after Wrestlemania. Rock stated in recent interview with Peter Rosenberg that the plan at one point was to build towards a match with Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 30 next year.
Speaking of The Rock, The Hollywood Reporter is featuring an article about Johnson being set to star in a new HBO “dramedy pilot” teaming with Mark Wahlberg. The show would focus on the lives of retired athletes in Miami. Stephen Levinson (“Entourage”), Dany Garcia and Peter Berg are also involved in the project. To check out the full article, click here.
